"Good Morning America" host George Stephanopoulos tests positive for Coronavirus weeks after his wife's diagnosis









ABC News anchor, George Stephanopoulos has tested positive for Coronavirus.



Stephanopoulos, who anchors "Good Morning America," made the announcement about his Coronavirus diagnosis on the morning news show on Monday.



"I'm one of those cases that are basically asymptomatic. I've never had a fever, never had chills, never had a headache, never had a cough, never had shortness of breath. I'm feeling great, " he said on GMA.



The news comes two weeks after Stephanopoulos' wife, actress and bestselling author Ali Wentworth, confirmed she tested positive for COVID-19.



The news anchor who shares two daughters Elliott Anastasia, 17, and Harper Andrea, 14, with his wife, Ali Wentworth told his co-anchors Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts in the interview that it was “no surprise” that he came down with the sickness because has been his wife's caregiver throughout her battle with COVID-19.



He also revealed that his wife is feeling a lot better now.
